CALL FOR ENTRIES

EgoFest 2008: Redefining the Self-Portrait

You are cordially invited to indulge in some narcissistic navel-gazing. Take a good look in the mirror. Will you skim the surface, or can you peek beneath the mask? How deep can you go without falling in? You can see what you want to see, or show us what is really there.

Submissions due November 15th. Artists will be informed of acceptance into show by November 20th. E-mail jpgs or pdf files of art to info@artspanyc.com. Original art size must not exceed 20 x 20" and must be in a wall-hanging format.

The "Gallery" at Art Spa aims to promote art that is visceral, expressive, and serves to bring the internal experience into view. It is our belief that this kind of art benefits the public by increasing its understanding and acceptance of the vulnerabilities that make us all human.
